With an outstanding background as a professional wakeboarder and over 14 years of teaching experience, Dary Znebel brings both his passion for watersports and his expertise to the Water, helping you believe & achieve!
I have been involved in watersports my whole life. I learned to waterski at the age of 4, and then progressed to slalom skiing when I was 6 years old. When i turned 8, my father bought me a wakeboard and i fell in love with the sport. at the time, I was a competitive gymnast training 25 hours a week and traveling all over Canada and the USA competing for the National team. Since Gymnastics was taking up so much of my time, when I was 14 I decided to quit gymnastics and pursue my wake boarding career. That summer I won my first wakeboard competition, and landed my first sponsor, Obrien Watersports and i haven't looked back from there. At the age of 16, I started coaching wake boarding and trampoline lessons. That same year I qualified to compete in the professional Mens wakeboard category for the first time.
I am now the Head Coach of the Canadian Wakeboard Team. Throughout my professional wakeboard career, I have become Canadian National champion 4 times, and have been on the podium in several international professional competitions all over the world.
